About AMT

Applied Micro Technology, Inc. (AMT) was founded in 1983 to provide supplemental functions to existing lending information systems. We invented and deployed document tracking in March 1984 and added document imaging in July, 1992. There are over fifty features in LQAS (Loan Quality Assurance System) that were originally developed by our company. The management team is comprised of ex bankers and/or regulators. The President of our company and original developer of LQAS was an examiner and a commercial lender.
We have full integration of document imaging with automatic indexing at the document level and two-second retrieval to the branch. One client is retrieving images in a quarter of a second. We have also developed a document tracking and imaging system for the deposit area.

We were number one in the CIO Review Document Management Issue and authored an article that was published in the RMA journal.

Leadership Team

Chris Crawford

President

Chris is the original developer of LQAS. He was a commissioned bank examiner for over three years and a commercial lender for another three. He created LQAS in 1984, the first system commercially created to track loan documents to postpone or prevent bank failures. He was the tenth reseller of Citrix Systems (thin client creator). He upgraded LQAS to wide area capability, also know as enterprise computing, and in 1991 upgraded LQAS to run on thin client, years before either terms existed. He authored the feature set to enable client banks to be externally reviewed without the reviewers traveling to the bank in 2008.

Cindy Nations

Banking Solutions Specialist

Cindy has over 15 years of banking experience with the last 3 years as an Information Systems Officer for a large independently owned financial institution. She also spent 6 years as the Loan Operations Officer of the same financial institution. All 9 of those years she used LQAS extensively, from collateral tracking, imaging, loan review, report writing as well as writing interfaces to other lending products/applications. She is also in charge of document review when AMT conducts external loan reviews. She has been with AMT since September 1999, doing sales, training and custom reports.
